What is the origin of life? How did the extraordinary varieties of living things come to be?
Life is all around us. We share the planet with millions of species of plants, animals, and other organisms. The origin of life and all its diversity has been perhaps the most wondrous mystery of all. It is a question that is still explored today.
The Bible claims that God created the living world with wisdom and purpose. For some of history’s greatest minds, this has inspired a deep appreciation for living things. Scientists and scholars continue to probe the mystery of life, revealing even more staggering complexity in the living world.
